M&M Brownie Cookies

M&M Brownie Cookies

Hey! So today I wanted to share this delicious brownie mix cookie recipe with you guys. These cookies are absolutely amazing and totally addicting! ;) It's literally impossible to eat just one. :D I made them on St. Patrick's Day, so I chose M&Ms with a fitting color pattern. But you could switch out any color, depending on the holiday (pastels for Easter, etc.) There are so many possibilities with this recipes, and so many different colors and flavors of M&Ms you could choose.  These are guaranteed to be a hit!

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (I used coconut oil)
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup M&Ms (I used the brown, yellow, and green M&Ms from a mix; any color would be awesome, depending on the occasion!)

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Mix together brownie mix, flour, eggs. vanilla, and oil with an electric mixer until the batter is smooth. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms.
3. Roll about tablespoons of dough into balls and place on baking sheets lined with silpats or parchment paper. Top cookies with more M&Ms, if you want.
4. Bake for 9 minutes.
5. Cool on rack for 5 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack to finish cooling.

I love this picture of the M&Ms I chose. :)

Have a great week, everyone!  Stay tuned for more posts this month!

Easy Shamrock Punch

Hey guys!  Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, I ran to the store and got the ingredients to make this AMAZING sharmrock punch-give it a go and you'll know why it's such a hit at our house! :)

Easy Shamrock Punch
Serves: about 16 (depends on serving size)
Prep time: 5 min

1 container (2 quarts) lime sherbet
1 (46oz.) can unsweetened pineapple juice
1 2 liter bottle ginger ale

The directions are the same for either a punch bowl or individual glasses-however you decide to make it. Just use larger quantities for a punch bowl. For a party, I use a punch bowl, but for my family I used glasses.

  • Using an ice cream scoop, scoop two or three scoops of sherbet into glasses-half the container for punch bowl.
  • Fill glasses about half-way with pineapple juice-pour in the whole can for punch bowl.
  • Fill glasses the rest of the way with ginger ale, or fill punch bowl-it will be super foamy and fizzy!
  • Add desired amount of ice cream scoops to the top of glasses or punch bowl.
  • Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be on the lookout for new posts next week!  I will be posting more regularly this spring!  Much love! <3

Holiday M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

Merry Christmas, friends!  Here's a last-minute Christmas recipe I had so much fun making (and eating!)  The best part is that the prep and cooking time combined is only 20 minutes!

Prep Time: 20 min.
Yield: about 2 dozen

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 and 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 3.5 oz vanilla pudding mix (I couldn't find 3.5 at our little store so I used 1 3.4)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup red and green M&Ms (again, our store didn't have holiday M&Ms, so I used brown as well as red and green)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line baking sheet with Silpat silicone baking mat. (Parchment paper also works if you don't have one.) Set aside.
3. In large mixing bowl, cream butter with electric mixer for about 30 seconds. Add granulated and brown sugar, and beat for 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.
4. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until well incorporated.
5. In another mixing bowl, whisk together flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt.
6. Add dry ingredients to butter sugar mixture and mix with an electric mixer until mostly incorporated.  Add chocolate chips and M&Ms, (reserving some) stir with a spoon until well mixed.
7. Scoop the cookie dough with cookie scoop (1-1/2 tablespoon). Roll into balls and placing on prepared cookie sheet spacing them 2" apart.  (The finished dough tends to be crumbly, but comes together when rolled into balls in your hands.)
8. Press reserved M&Ms and chocolate chips onto cookie balls.
9. Bake for 10-12 minutes.  11 minutes worked well for me. Cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheet, then transfer to baking rack to cool completely.
10. Enjoy!

Everyday Fall Fashion {from Grandma's closet}

Hello friends!  Today for my fall fashion blog post, I'm modeling a simple, everyday outfit which I wore to run errands yesterday.
Sweater: Take Out, from my grandma's closet clean-out.  I absolutely love it!  My grandma has the best style. ;)
Jeans: Aeropostale, $26 on sale
Sneakers: Airwalk, $10.  These are super old; I've been wearing them for almost five years now! :D

I recently picked up these cute little necklaces from my favorite local department store for only $15 for both of them.  My new favorite accessories! ;)
So there you have it.  A glimpse of my everyday wardrobe.  Life has been crazy lately with work and school, music lessons, moves, and events, and will become even more so with the coming holidays, but I plan to continue blogging as much as possible.  Hopefully once a week, but at least every other week. :)  I have several awesome holiday-ready recipes planned that will be on the blog closer to Thanksgiving.  Thanks so much for your continued support!  Hope y'all are having a wonderful day!
