I recently did a guest post for a sweet friend, featuring this yummy recipe! Check it out! It's still the holiday season, even though Christmas is over. :)

Merry Christmas! Love, Elyse

As we celebrate this beautiful Christmas season with family and friends, don't forget to remember the reason why we celebrate--Jesus Christ came into the world to save us from our sins.  That's what Christmas is about, and the reason why we have something to celebrate.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
--Isaiah 9:6

Merry Christmas!

What Wondrous Love Is This {Chelsea Moon}

Hello, dear friends!  Check out this beautiful rendition of What Wondrous Love Is This, by Chelsea Moon.    Definitely one of my favorite hymns!

What Wondrous Love Is This

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul,
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul.

When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down beneath God's righteous frown,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul, for my soul,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul.

To God and to the Lamb, I will sing, I will sing;
To God and to the Lamb, I will sing.
To God and to the Lamb Who is the great 'I am';
While millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing;
While millions join the theme, I will sing.

And when from death I'm free, I'll sing on, I'll sing on;
And when from death I'm free, I'll sing on.
And when from death I'm free, I'll sing and joyful be;
And through eternity, I'll sing on, I'll sing on;
And through eternity, I'll sing on.

Have a beautiful day!

Love,
Elyse
